Our 77th scent is called Cobra. A few weeks back, I went for a 4 wheeler ride. It was 99 degrees so I shaded up under a tree and had myself an ice cold beer. As I was sitting there, taking in all the nature, mountains, streams, and birds singing, a Cobra appeared in front of me. The cobra told me that if I wanted to make it out of the valley alive, I had to create a scent that would make him proud or he’d bite me. He said, “You have 30 minutes to come up with something or I will sink my fangs in your calf”. Luckily, I was surrounded by a plethora of different trees and roots. I frantically began to whip up a musky, sweet, and citrusy concoction. I walked over to the cobra, and said, “Excuse me cobra”, the cobra interrupted and said, “My name is George.” Confused I replied, “Excuse me George, I’ve finished the scent as you’ve requested”. George the Cobra put down his whittling knife (he was whittling an owl figurine), gave it a big sniff and said to me, “Donny, you nailed it! You have a free pass through the valley as long as you live, what do you call it?” I looked at George the Cobra and said, “Cobra, in honor of the most fearsome whittling snake I have ever come across”. George the Cobra smiled, gazed at the sun, took a deep breath and asked, “Would you like to go bowling?”. I said, “Of course I would!” So George the Cobra and I hopped on my 4 wheeler and bowled 3 games at the local bowling alley. I haven’t come across George the Cobra since then, but I present to you…. Cobra.
While none of that actually happened, I know, I know, hard to believe, we did come up with a pretty killer scent in this one, and in all honesty I had no idea how to explain it. It’s citrusy, woodsy, and sweet with a hint of musk. It’s not quite a cologne, and it’s not quite earthy, but it is quite delicious if I do say so myself.
