Big D’s Revenge Beard Cream

Our 56^th scent is called Big D’s Revenge. Once again, it’s September which means it’s Donny’s birthday ,one of our founders, and he takes control of the September scent. Everything from the scent, label, and the description. So, with no further adieu, the description of Big D’s Revenge straight from Donny’s lips to your brain: “This is going to get a little sappy, but I don’t care. I named it Big D’s Revenge because of an inside joke between my wife and I. When we first met in 2002 I was living in Arizona, I called my wife (the other founder of BCC) but she didn’t answer, so I left a voicemail that said “Sadie, it’s me. Give me a call back”. Later on during the day, I received a voicemail from Sadie that said in a VERY confused and sarcastic tone, “Hey Big D, give me a call back”. When I listened to it, I was so damn confused as to why she called me Big D. I mean, we weren’t married yet, she hadn’t learned to cook yet, I only weighed in at a buck 50 (little did I know she’d put 50 pounds on me through the next decade… so I guess it was foreshadowing). When I asked her why the Big D, she said, “That’s what you called yourself, I was wondering why you gave yourself a nick name.” So, there you go, there’s why I named it Big D’s Revenge. Because I love my wife and whenever I see or hear “Big D” it makes me think of meeting her for the first time.

As for the actual scent description. I personally like the cologne style scents we offer the most. I do like the woodsy scents… on other people. But I don’t always want to smell like a tree, I mean I love the trees and mountains, but I like to hunt and fish in them, I don’t want to walk around town smelling like a pinecone. I like to smell a bit more “upscale” if you will. This probably comes from my mom working at Nordstrom selling cologne and perfume when I was a kid. She would always bring me home samples and of course I would use too much. Big D’s Revenge is dark, a little musky, and has a citrus undertone. It’s a unique balance of woodsy and cologne. It’s probably my all time favorite that we offer… so far.”

Big D’s Revenge is scented with: Lavender, Tobacco Absolute, Orange, Bergamot, Sage, and Pepper.
